Mongolian Charity Rally

Two Lincolnshire Bikers are preparing to ride from Horncastle to Ulan Bataar to help a number of worthwhile causes.

Please click on the links below to see how you might be able to help them.

UPDATE - 5th February 2008

We are very pleased to announce that we are now in the position of actually having two Royal Enfield Bullets. They will be dropped off with Jim Allen Motorcycles within the next few weeks so that Jim can start to wave his magic wand over them and start the preparation process and make sure that they are going to be mechanically prepared for the journey of their lives in the summer.

However, we are still lacking a number of essential items. Without which we will not be able to reach Ulaan Baatar and donate both the bikes and all our equipment to the CDPF childrens charity.

Just some of the parts that we still desperately need are;
Royal Enfield military spec panniers and frames x 2
Tank Bags x 2
Royal Enfield crash bars x 2
10 litre Jerry cans x 4 (So both us and the bikes are safe in the knowledge we are carrying enough to drink)
Front and rear tyres for both bikes
Heavy duty enduro spec inner-tubes x 4
Puncture repair kits
Tyre levers

Also any item that we can use as a raffle or auction prize at one of our planned pub fund raisers. All proceeds from these fund raising events will be donated directly to CAMDA and When You Wish Upon A Star, the 2 UK charities that Team REMIT are also supporting on this mad 8500 mile ride to Mongolia.
